How do you get a custom piece of furniture designed?

Our tagline at Dailey Woodworks is “if you can dream it, we can build it.”

But still, you may not know how to get started on designing your dream custom furniture.

Allow us to walk you through our process.

We love building unique furniture and we want you to love the experience of getting custom furniture built.

STEP 1: It Starts With an Idea

Maybe you’re wondering “where can I buy furniture I saw on Pinterest?” Or you have a mental image of what you want and the space it goes.

Whatever your inspiration, once you have a rough idea of what you're wanting the next step is to contact us.

STEP 2: Fill Out Our Contact Form

On the top right-hand corner of the screen, you will find a “Start Your Project Button” on every page of our website. (On mobile you’ll need to tap on the menu).

Fill out the form and tell us what you’re dreaming of. We will respond via email ASAP to schedule a phone conversation.

STEP 3: Phone Consultation and Rough Estimate

Before our phone call, we will ask for any (p)inspiration photos, sketches, and ideas you may have. This will help me see what you see. During our call, we will talk through dimensions, materials, timeline, etc

And the best part is 90% of the time I’ll be able to give you a price range right on the phone!

This way you will know if it makes sense for us to move forward to our paid design service.

STEP 4: 3D Design

With our 3D designs, you’ll be able to see what you're getting before we start building.

We charge 10% of the estimated price, $300 minimum for a full design. This fee is credited toward your project when you’re ready to move forward.

Our design fee also secures your spot on our build list.

STEP 5: Deposit and Build

Once we have a final design and price it’s time to take your 40% material deposit. (You’re 10% Design Fee is applied to your total). And start building!
